Production program of our plant provides for manufacturing of copper tubes with inner diameter Ø 5 - 76 mm and wall thickness 0.35-2.5 mm, in soft, half-hard and hard conditions.
FBC Majdanpek manufactures PVC coated copper tubes and copper tubes for use in medicine.
Copper tubes to be used in medicine meet the very strict requirements for production of installations for medical and compressed gasses. They are very safe for conveyance of various gasses in laboratories and hospitals.

Weight and maximum allowable working pressure of fluids are computed using the following equations for each copper tube size:
For weight: |
For pressure:
|
Q = (D - S) x S x π x γ, gr/m |
P = 200 Rm S / DN, bara |
where:

D - outer diameter, mm
|
200 - conversion constant
|
S - wall thickness, mm

PVC-coated copper tubes

Copper tubes coated with polyvinylchloride (PVC) are intended for water, heating, gas, air, fluid and other installations.
Material used to coat copper tubes is polyvinylchloride (PVC) of the following characteristics:
- Density: 1400 - 1500 kg/m³
- Elongation: 207%
- Breaking strength: 14 N/mm 2
- Maximum working temperature: +95°C
- Minimum bending temperature: -10°C
Advantages of PVC-coated copper tubes are: major reduction of heat loss, prevention of burns in users, PVC coating protects copper tubes from aggressive environments and prolongs its service life. Plastic insulation layer is elastic and enables bending and all other working operations during installation.
FBC Majdanpek can, on buyer’s request, coat with plastic hard and half-hard copper tubes in straight lengths. Soft PVC-coated copper tubes are delivered in coils, while other PVC-coated copper tubes are delivered in straight lengths. The following data can be marked lengthwise on plastic-coated copper tubes:
