History of FBC Majdanpek

FBC Majdanpek was founded on January 1, 1979 and operated as an integral part of Copper Processing Industry Zajecar.
Its first transformation took place in 1981, since when FBC Majdanpek has been operating within Copper Processing Industry Bor.
In the following years FBC Majdanpek was transformed in accordance with legislation, first into a joint-stock company, and then into a limited liability company that operated as a subsidiary within Mining-Smelting Basin Bor .
On January 27, 2004, at a public auction held in Belgrade, FBC Majdanpek was privatized and is currently a joint-stock company without any state-owned shares.
For all years of its operation, FBC Majdanpek has been operating in a turbulent market with over 80% of its annual output exported into numerous world-wide markets.
